Oxygen Free Copper Gaskets To make a leak tight UHV seal between two conflat flanges, a gasket is required. OFHC (oxygen free high conductivity) copper is normally used as this sealing material as it is very clean, can easily be formed to shape, has a wide temperature range, and has a low outgassing rate.
Oxygen Free Copper Gaskets fit CF flange size of CF16 ~ CF250. Vacuum fittings use a knife-edge cf flange to achieve the high vacuum seal
gasket and can operate down to 10-13 torr (10-11 Pa) and can be heated to 450 °C for bake-out. Oxygen Free Copper Gaskets are used for
ultra-high vacuum applications. Vacuum fittings are made of High purity, electronic grade oxygen-free copper gasket.
